Potato Gratin, also known as Dauphinoise Potatoes, is a French classic made with layers upon layers of finely sliced potatoes, cream, butter and cheese with a hint of fresh thyme. Formally known as Au Gratin, for more casual dining it can also be called Scalloped Potatoes and Potato Bake.

Our Gratin is 100% Gluten Free and contains no cheese or butter, as we wanted to create a versatile product that can be adapted by the Chef during the cooking process.

Our Gratin is pre-portioned in frozen free flow so you have 12 months from the production date to use.

Customers are often tired of having substitutes for menu items that aren’t Gluten Free.
TIP: Use multiple of our 70g Portion Gratin or one 150g Gratin as the perfect substitute for bread in Breakfast and Lunch menus.
Note: cooking guidelines below for our 70g product and serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour and piping hot in the middle.
Oven: Pre-heat oven to 220°. Place frozen Gratin on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil and bake for 12 minutes, then turn and bake for a further 4 minutes.
Deep Fry: Pre-heat deep fryer at 180°. Deep fry frozen Gratin in small batches for 8-9 minutes.
Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. The. carefully place frozen Gratin into a pan and shallow fry for 12 minutes turning regularly. (Recommend cooking method).
