Corn Patties (130g)
Wild Chef Corn Patties are a great vegetarian burger pattie. They are packed with sweetcorn, kumara, lemongrass, ginger and fresh coriander. Wild Chef Corn Patties are pre-fried, this means that they are perfect for cabinet food, functions and buffets. If your kitchen does not have a fryer, these Corn Patties are perfect as they can be cooked to perfection in the oven, microwave or on a hot plate.

COOK FROM FROZEN Note: Cooking times serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary.
- Oven Bake: Line a baking tray with baking paper or lightly grease. Place patties on tray and spray/brush with a good coating of oil. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for about 8 minutes, then turn and continue to cook for a further 6 minutes.
- Fan Bake: Same as a conventional oven but bake in a pre-heated oven at 190°C for about 8 minutes, then turn and continue to cook for a further 4 minutes.
- PAN FRY: Brush or spray Pattie with a little oil and cook for about 6 minutes each side on medium heat.
- DEEP FRY: Can only be deep-fried briefly, and then finished off in the oven as this product colours very quickly.
Cabinet Food: For an easy cabinet, food idea put a corn patty in a toasted Bagel with mesculin, halloumi, grilled eggplant and dressed with fresh basil pesto.
Breakfast: If you are looking for Vegetarian Breakfast idea try a Corn Pattie topped with a pan-fried medley of potato, mushroom, spinach, red pepper and dressed with a spicy homemade tomato and herb sauce.
Brunch: You can also create a brunch stack. Cook corn patties topped with grilled bacon, tomato, fried egg and smashed avocado.
Burger: Another menu idea is to use a Corn patty in a Vegan burger with, tomato, red onion, roasted red capsicum. Finish off with your favourite relish.
