Cooking Guidelines (cook from frozen)
Note: Cooking guidelines serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour & piping hot in the middle.
Oven: Pre-heat oven to 220°C. Place frozen Sticks on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil. Bake for 6 minutes then turn and bake for a further 3 minutes.
Deep Fry: Pre-heat deep fryer at 180°C. Deep fry frozen Sticks in small batches for 3 minutes. (Recommended cooking method)
Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. Then, carefully place frozen Sticks into pan and shallow fry for 4-5 minutes turning regularly.
- Sides for dipping: Great as a snack paired with either tzaziki sauce, hummus, minty yoghurt or tahini
- Platters: Serve Falafel Sticks on a platter with hummus, fresh tomato salsa, radish slices, toasted almonds, crumbled soft feta, flatbread and pita chips
- Pita Pocket: Stuff pita bread with fried eggplant, carrot salad, onions, cucumber and tahini
- Wraps: Easily rolled in wraps (tortillas/Lebanese bread) with salad veggies and preferred sauces
