Cooking Guidelines (cook from frozen)

Note: Cooking guidelines serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour & piping hot in the middle.

Oven: Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Place frozen Rostis on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil. Bake for 7 minutes then turn and bake for a further 4 minutes. (Recommended cooking method)

Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. Then, carefully place frozen Rostis into pan and shallow fry for 7 minutes turning regularly.

 

Serving Suggestions:

  • Eggs Benedict: Serve your eggs Benedict base topped with wilted spinach, bacon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce.
  • Kumara and Mushroom Burger: Switch out the buns for portobello mushrooms - filled with spinach, Kumara Rosti, halloumi, tomato and a green herb tahini dressing.
  • Rib Eye Steak and Kumara Stack: Top our Kumara Rosti with a tender rib eye steak, pan-seared garlic mushrooms and jus. Simple but delicious. Switch out the steak for eggplant, capsicum and zucchini for a veggie option.
  • Layered Rosti and Lamb: Layer our Kumara Rosti on a plate with pea mash, spinach, lamb, beetroot relish and coriander.
