Mini Hash Browns (25g)

Wild Chef Mini Hash Browns are made with freshly grated NZ Agria potato and seasoning. Our Mini Hash Browns are a classic favourite and for good reason too! They are a wholesome, oven ready and versatile product that can be used on many menus including as a canapé base for functions, they hold well in buffets, can be used as sides for breakfasts, lunches and mains - not to mention great on kids menus!

Cooking Guidelines (cook from frozen)

Note: Cooking guidelines serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour & piping hot in the middle.

Oven: Pre-heat oven to 220°C. Place frozen Mini Hash Browns on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil. Bake for 6 minutes then turn and bake for a further 3 minutes.

Deep Fry: Pre-heat deep fryer at 180°C. Deep fry frozen Mini Hash Browns in small batches for 3 minutes. (Recommended cooking method)

Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. Then, carefully place frozen Mini Hash Browns into pan and shallow fry for 5 minutes turning regularly.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Breakfast Canapé: For the ultimate breakfast canapé we love halloumi and bacon with our Mini Hash Browns. For a Vegetarian option, switch out the bacon for a Vege friendly option.
  • Mini Hash Wrap: Wrap our Mini Hash Browns with bacon and eggs in a wholemeal wrap for a simple but tasty breakfast or brunch wrap. Again, swap out bacon for grilled zucchini and mushroom for a Vegan friendly option.
  • Skewers: For everyone to enjoy, skewer a few Mini Hash Browns with some cheerio sausage at either end for the perfect kids menu item.
  • Brunch Bowl: Serve our Mini Hash Browns with roasted vine tomatoes, fried egg, avocado and rocket.
