Wild Chef Mini Kumara Rosti are made with locally sourced NZ orange kumara and beautifully combined with spring onion to take it to the next level. Wild Chef Mini Kumara Rosti offers you authentic flavours and textures in one luxurious bite. This taste of Kiwiana can be the perfect addition to your menu - giving you tasty options for gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, plant-based and vegan-friendly menu items. Or for meat eaters, add some sliced lamb topped with fresh salsa verde.
Our Rosti is an incredibly versatile product to use as canapé bases, sides for hot breakfasts (with or without egg), an addition to main-meals, or added into gorgeous salads. See our serving suggestions below for more inspiration.

Cooking Guidelines (cook from frozen)
Note: Cooking guidelines serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour & piping hot in the middle.
Oven: Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Place frozen Rostis on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil. Bake for 5 minutes then turn and bake for a further 3 minutes. (Recommended cooking method)
Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. Then, carefully place frozen Rosti into pan and shallow fry for 5 minutes turning regularly.
- Lamb and Pesto Canapé: Top our Mini Kumara Rosti with lamb and pesto, or wild pork sausage and beetroot hummus. You can easily make a Vegetarian or Vegan friendly canapé too by switching out the meat for veggies.
- Salmon and Creme Fraiche Canapé: We love smoked salmon and horseradish crème fraiche on top of our Kumara Rosti for a pleasing menu idea.
- No Prep Skewers: Try our Rosti on a skewer with protein of your choice (lamb, chicken, halloumi), red onions and serve on a bed of greens.
