Plain Potato Rosti (120g)

Wild Chef Plain Potato Rosti is as wholesome as you would make yourself! It's the perfect versatile base for any meal of the day, made from freshly grated  premium NZ Agria potatos and blended with a touch of onion, this Rosti is kept simple for you to enhance. The size (120g) is perfect for elegant dishes or just a hearty size for a big breakfast.

Cooking Guidelines (cook from frozen)

Note: Cooking guidelines serve as a guide only, as appliances may vary. Cook from frozen until desired colour & piping hot in the middle.

Oven: Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Place frozen Rostis on a tray lined with baking paper. Brush/spray with a little oil. Bake for 8 minutes then turn and bake for a further 5 minutes.

Deep Fry: Pre-heat deep fryer at 180°C. Deep fry frozen Rostis in small batches for 6 minutes. (Recommended cooking method)

Pan Fry: Pre-heat pan on a medium setting with a little oil. Then, carefully place frozen Rostis into pan and shallow fry for 8-9 minutes turning regularly.

  • Steak and Pea Stack: Create a delicious stack using our Rosti, pea mash, scotch fillet, roasted vine tomatoes and jus. Easily adaptable for Vegetarian and Vegan friendly customers, just add additional veggies.
  • Salmon Stack: Top our Rosti with a generous fillet of fresh Salmon pan seared, spinach and hollandaise to finish.
  • Veggie Stack: Create the ultimate veggie stack with our Rosti as the base. Wiltered spinach, grilled eggplant, pesto, hummus, brie and micro greens will be sure to impress. Adapt accordingly for a Vegan friendly option.
  • Try a Big Breakfast: Elevate an average big breakfast by serving a Rosti (or two) for your breakfast.

  • Avocado Goodness: When in season, avocado is a great topping for our Parmesan Hash Cakes. Keep it simple and add red onion, tomato and coriander salsa on smashed avo.
